These terms apply when you use Pratly. By creating an account or using the app you accept them. Pratly is free, has no ads, and is a hobby project run by one private person in the Netherlands.
Not medical advice
Targets and estimates in Pratly come from published formulas and food databases. They are not medical advice and do not replace a doctor or dietitian. Ask one before big changes to what you eat, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or have or had an eating disorder.
Your account
You must be at least 16. Keep your password to yourself: what happens under your account is your responsibility.
What you enter
Your data stays yours. Pratly uses it only to store it, sync it to your devices and show it to the people you choose to share it with. Don't share anything unlawful or anything that isn't yours to share.
Fair use
Don't try to break into the app, overload the server, reach other people's data or copy the app's data with automated tools.
Food data and AI
Nutrition figures come from public databases (NEVO, USDA, Open Food Facts) and from what people enter, and AI estimates can be wrong. Check the label when it matters.
No guarantees
Pratly is offered as it is. It runs on one small server, so it can be unavailable at times, and features can change. Export your data now and then if it matters to you. If the app ever closes, you'll be told in advance so you can export it.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time in Me → Account. An account that breaks these terms may be suspended or deleted.
Liability
As far as the law allows, the person who runs Pratly is not liable for damage from using it, such as lost data or wrong nutrition figures. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer.
Applicable law
Dutch law applies, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the law of the country you live in gives you other rights as a consumer.
Changes
These terms can change; the date at the top shows the current version. If you keep using Pratly after a change, the new terms apply. You can always delete your account instead.
